As encouraging as that is, it should be noted that snow accumulation at San Jacinto Peak is only at about 65% of the depth in March 2019, and this winter overall remains well below the historical average for snow in the high country, despite recent events. In addition, there is the possibility of minor snow storms on Thursday 19th and around Sunday 29th January. At this time there is no further significant precipitation forecast prior to mid February.
